Have a safe & happy Fourth of July Weekend! If you only do one thing this month, hang a flag for July 4th. Follow these tips to show your respect for the Stars & Stripes:
Mount the flag to a spot on your house clear of any obstructions that could cause it to tear.
Keep it up from sunrise to sunset. Take the flag down at night, unless it’s illuminated by an outdoor light.
If your flag is made of all-weather material, it’s not against the rules to leave it up in bad weather.
Displaying a worn flag is a breach of etiquette, so replace yours if it’s faded or ripped.
