The Farm Show is virtual this year. Check it out at farmshow.pa.gov. One of our insureds, Dan & Giana Van Nice will have their farm in a video feature. The York County farm — offering “local, sustainable and responsibly grown beef” — will be the first to be featured on the daily farm tour. A video tour of Blue Dog Farms in Shrewsbury Township will be shown at 3 p.m. Saturday on the Farm Show Facebook page and PCN. Dan, Giana and their four children run cattle, pigs, chickens and goats over more than 175 acres and then sell that grass-fed meat to the public. The farm will be featured again at 1 p.m. Wednesday as part of the Veterans in Agriculture series. Giana Van Nice is a former commissioned Naval officer.
