Courtesy of Rossen Reports: The IRS is pushing back the beginning of the 2020 tax season to Feb. 12. The IRS needs more time to prepare after sending millions of stimulus payments from the COVID-19 relief act passed in December. So the IRS won’t start accepting and processing tax returns until Feb. 12. But just because the start date has been moved back a few weeks, the tax filing deadline is still April 15.
